Polynomials literally means "many terms, for poly means "many" and nomials means "terms" . There kinds of polynomials are the monomials which has one term (e.g. 2b,  x^{2} etc.) the binomials with two terms (e.g. 2b+1,  x^{2} -4 etc.) trinomials with three terms (e.g.  x^{2} +5x+6,2 x^{2} -4x+10 etc.) and the last polynomials with many terms (e.g. 27 x^{3} +18 x^{2} +9x+1 etc)
