Find the slope first:
\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}
\frac{6-1}{-1-2}
\frac{5}{-3}

Now substitute to the formula
y-y_1=m(x-x_1)
y-1=\frac{5}{-3}(x-2)
Multiply both sides by -3
-3y+3=5x-10
Subtract both sides by 3
-3y=5x-13
Divide both sides by -1
3y=-5x+13

Hope this helps =)

umm tama po yun
you can use any point as y2 or x2 but constant na yun pag ganun
mali my rule kc dun,,,,alm mo b alin dun ung x and y intercept.....mgkaiba ung dalwang point,,,y2=1,,,y1=6,,at ang x2=2,,,x1=-1,,saka mo isubstitute dun s formula,,,,,baliktad..d o n cguro tining nn ung subscript,,,,wag mo buburhin sgotko..lht tyo my karapaatng sumagot,,
tama yan, isang method yang ginawa ko simply two point form, ginagamit lang yun kapag dalawang coordinates ang binigay at since wala kang slope, pwede mo hanapin ang slope tapos substitute dun sa coordinate with slope, turo yan ng prof ko e =)
