It is the number of elements found in a set. For example:
A={a,b,c,d,e,f}

the cardinality of set A is 6 because there are 6 elements found in set A

3 kinds of cardinality...
finite-the elements of a set can be counted... example: n(A)=24 {xlx is a senator of the Philippines}
infinite-a set has many elements that cannot be counted.. for example the counting numbers {1,2,3,4,5...}
additional info; (...) represents infinity of the elements^^
null-a set that has no elements... { }
