A man has seven roles in life as what is stated in the poem: the infant, school boy, the lover, soldier, justice, pantaloon, and the second childishness.
The poem tells about the cycle of man's life. To be a complete man, one must experience each of the stages. A man has the right time to change from one stage to another. You just have to accept the fact and face the priorities as you grow old. You were born as a baby and will grow old with the same traits of a baby. But the main point here is that any person can live his life, but everyone has to die.
