Since the acetone is an alkanes so it's Single bonds. Formaldehyde is an alkenes so it's Double bonds..

Acetone is a ketone, while formaldehyde is an aldehyde. they commonly possess a carbon oxygen double bond. acetones formula is CH3C=OCH3 while the formula of formaldehyde isĀ  H2C=O.
