Sunlight. Sunlight plays a vital role during the process. Next is carbon which is produced by the human being. Carbon is emitted by humans, machines, etc. Now, if you have already this sunlight and carbon, the plants can now produce "Glucose" which is their food. And in return, the plants emit an oxygen which human being or living things need.
glucose is blood sugar so it is not found in plants and they don't produce it. the food of the plants is starch. and sunlight is not a raw material, yes it plays a vital role to allow movements of electrons.
the raw material are carbon dioxide and water, these two are used by plants to produce starch which is the food of the plants. sunlight is used as stimulus for the plant to undergo photosynthesis therefore it is not a raw material.
