The answer is 2. The speed and direction shall remain constant
If all forces acting on an object is in balance then the net force is 0 therefore no acceleration, if there is no acceleration there is no change in speed.
The direction shall not change because there no external force acting on the object, therefore it shall continue moving in a straight line unless a "good enough force" is able to change it path.
