P = 2l + 2w

P = 2 (19 m) + 2 (15 m)

P = 38 m + 30 m

1 m = 10 dm

68 m = 680 dm

then...

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (L) + 2 (W)

Perimeter = 2 (19 m) + 2 (15 m)

= 38 m + 30 m

= 68 m

Step 2: Convert meter to decimeter

1 meter = 10 decimeters

68 m x 10 dm/m = 680 m

Perimeter = 680 dm

Step 3: Multiply the fencing material cost per decimeter by the perimeter of the fence:

680 dm × Php 11.15 / dm = Php 7,852
