When three equilateral triangle with measure of 2 cm each side are cut from the corners of the bigger equilateral triangle with measure of 6 cm each side, a regular hexagon will remain.

Hexagon has six sides, and each side measures 2 cm.

Perimeter of regular hexagon = 6 (side)
     = 6 (2cm)
     = 12 cm.

The perimeter of the resulting figure, a regular hexagon, is 12 cm.
