VELOCITY is the measure of the speed of the object in a specific direction.
It is denoted with V and is equal to S which stands for DISPLACEMENT divided by t which means time. REMEMBER that VELOCITY  is expressed in meter/second or m/s.

         S     displacement
V =    t       time

for example:
    A car drove 600 m in 25 min. Calculate its velocity.

V =    t
        600 m
   =   25 min X 60 sec.
        600 m
   =   1500 s
   =  0.4 m/s
