In finding the halfway between two fractions, we will just add the two given fractions and divide it by 2.
 \frac{3}{7}+ \frac{4}{9}
In adding two dissimilar fractions, we will first change it to similar fractions.
We will find the Least Common Denominator of the two fractions which is 63
= \frac{(3)(9)}{63}+ \frac{(4)(7)}{63}
= \frac{27}{63}+ \frac{28}{63}
= \frac{55}{63}
We will now divide the sum by 2.
55/63 ÷ 2 = 55/126

Therefore, the halfway between 3/7 and 4/9 is 55/126
