 \frac{5u}{7} =  \frac{-15}{2}

( \frac{7}{5} ) ( \frac{5u}{7}) = ( \frac{-15}{3} )( \frac{7}{5})
(Applying the Multiplication Property of Equality)

u = (-3/2) (7/1)

u = -21/2   or  -10 ¹/₂

7/1 ??
Erratum in second line: -15/2 instead of -15/3. typo error.  The rest are correct. Cross cancellation of numerator -15 and denominator 5 (with 5 as Greatest common factor).   So -15/2 (see erratum at the beginning of this statement) becomes -3/2  and 7/5 becomes 7/1 or 7.
I was hoping that my attention would be called for correction on -15/3 and not 7/1 :-)
