Big bag width = 8 minus Small bag width (4) =

Big bag height = 4 minus Small bag height (2) =

Volume = length × width × height

Bigger bag volume = 16 × 8 × 4

= 512 units³

Smaller bag volume = 8 × 4 × 2

= 64 units³

If you want to know how many smaller bags of the same size as given you can put inside the bigger bag with no breathing space left:

512 units³ ÷ 64 units³ = 8 smaller bags

Meaning, you can still put in 7 more smaller bags of the same size, but of course, you don't want your bags to be deformed. :-)
