first you need to get the area of the triangular base which has 3 ft on a side using formula A=1/2(BasexHeight)

get the height using pythagorean theorem

c^2=a^2+b^2

3^2=1.5^2 + b^2

9+2.25=b^2

11.25=b^2 (get the square root of both sides)

b=3.35ft

area of triangle

A=1/2 (BxH)

A= 1/2 (3ftx3.35ft)

A=1/2 (10.05 sq. ft)

A=5.025 sq ft

now the volume

V=1/3 (Area of the base x Height)

V=1/3 (5.025 sq ft x 7 ft)

V=1/3 (35.175 cu. ft)

V= 11.725 cu ft
