A hole measure 8 m long, 5 m wide, 2 m deep was dug in the ground. How many m³ of earth was removed?

 Simply find the volume of that 'hole' dug in the ground.
V = lwh
    = (8 m)(5 m)(2 m)
    = 80 m³
