A parallel circuit is a circuit that even when one bulb is remoed, the others will still light up.The flow of electricity to the bulbs travels in different paths. Also, the brightness of the bulb will not change even when more bulbs are added. The examples are our house lights.

A series circuit is a circuit that eventually, when a bulb is removed, the circuit will not be conpleted andthe other bulbs will notlight up. In a series circuit , there is only one path to every bulb- not all bulbs will have their own paths from the battery. proportionally to the parallel circuit, the brightness of the bulbs will decrease as more buls are added. christmas lights are exaplesof these circuits.
