Since sulfur is insoluble in water and it floats on water it can be removed first from the mixture by means of flitration and if the salt is not dissolved pouring should be done carefully so as not to disturb the salt at the bottom, so  by the end of filtration you the sulfur on fllter paper, the salt in the original container and the water as filtrate in another container, if salt is dissolved after the filtration you can do the distillation to collect water as distillate and the salt as the residue
