Steel is often coated with a thin layer of zinc if it is to be used outside. What characteristics do you think the zinc provides to this coated, or galvanized, steel? What precautions should be considered in producing this product? How will the recyclability of the steel be affected?

Since steel is an alloy of iron and carbon it is prone to rusting, zinc is used to coat steel to prevent rusting, for me zinc does not affect5 the recyclabillity of steel. for the precaution stay away from billet during loading and unloading since it is heavy this may pause danger when it moves, checking of gas pipe is necessary, heat and glare during operation can cause harm, avoid leaks of products. checking of acids and fumesĀ
