The oxygen enters the body through the nose or mouth when we inhale.  Then, it goes down the lungs through the windpipe or trachea.  As more air goes into the lungs, it expands.  Oxygen then passes through the air sacs and enters the blood stream.  It jumps on the red blood cells and travels to capillaries.
