5x²+7x-6
grouping method:

If 5x²=a, 7x=b and -6=c

1. Find the grouping num.of AC

a= 5x²    c= -6       ac= -30

2. Find the grouping number whose sum is b

Factors of -30                                  SUM
30,-1                                                29
15, -2                                               13
6, -5                                                  1
10, -3                           =                   7

3. Use these factors tpwrite bx as the sum of two terms

7x= 10x-3x

4.Factor by grouping

5x²+7x-6

5x²+10x-3x-6

(5x²+10) (-3-6)

5. Get its GCF.

(5x²+10)= 5x
(-3-6)= -3

5x(x+2)    -3(x+2)

6.Same terms

x+2

(x+2) (5x-3)
