First, the air enters the lungs via the nose. This is called inhalation. Then the CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) exits the lungs via exhalation and the remaining O (Oxygen) goes to the heart, then to the bloodstream in which the blood becomes oxygen-rich and in turn, transports the blood to the different parts of the body. The cycle then repeats.
