Use the general rule:

     a _{n} = a1 + (n-1) (d)

where:

 a_{n} = the nth term

n = term

a₁ = first term in a sequence

d = common difference between any two consecutive term in a sequence.

I already know the general rule but I want to find the easiest way to find for th nth term. Anyway, thank you.
that's the easiest way. If you are asked to find the 100th term if given are only five terms, you would have to go back to the basic rule. The way it would be easy, or in short cut is if you are asked to find the next term of the given sequence :-)
