The standard form is ax²+bx+c right? So, based on your question, it should be  \frac{3}{x^{2} } -5x+1

If the x is only the squared one then the solution would be:
1+3/x²=5x  we will multiply both sides by x²
x²(1+3/x²)=x²(5x)
x²+3=x³.. then transpose it to the other side
x³-x²-3=0
