What are the 3 terms between 2 and 10.

2, , , , 10

so your a sub 1 is 2 and your a sub 5 is 10. Simply follow the formula. a sub n = a sub 1 + (n-1) d

so your a sub n will be 10 (your a sub n will always be the last/biggest term given)

a sub 1 will be 2 and your n will be (5-1) why 5? cause of the no. of sequence (a sub 5).

10 = 2 + (5-1) d

10 = 2 + 4d

10 - 2 = 4d

8 = 4d

-- ----

4 4

2 = d (this is your common difference)

so just add 2 in your a sub 1 and so on. (2,4,6,8,10)

Hope it helps ☺.
