Circulatory system - consists of the blood, the heart, and an intricate network of long, and slender tubes which are called blood vessels, that actually originates from the heart. Helps maintain your body's temperature by transporting heat to the surface of your skin. Also contains the cells that fight infection.
Parts of the circulatory system:
-Heart - Atria, ventricles, valves
-Blood - Composed of 3 types of blood cells: Red bloods cells, white blood cells, and platelets
-Blood vessels - Arteries, veins, capillaries
