Fruits, veggies, protein, carbs and starch,
did you know that nutrition month falls in March?
We need all of these food groups for our body to grow,
what are healthy foods, tell me do you know?
We have lettuce, tomatoes, chicken and apples too,
but this is not all the healthy food, this is only a few.
We have bananas, nuts, oranges and whole wheat bread,
the list goes on and on, there's even a lite mayo spread.
So before you pick up that candy be it Baby Ruth or Heath,
think long and hard, that stuff is sugar coating your teeth.
Healthy eating should occcur in March and other months too,
so go for the right choice of eating, for it is all up to you.
