5down votefavorite2I have run through many questions like "given the few first terms of a sequence, find the next one". My question is "are such problems mathematical?".This is something like given f(1),f(2),f(3)f(1),f(2),f(3), find f(x)f(x) (so that you can find f(4)f(4)). There could be an infinite number of solutions to this problem, so there's very little possibility that one would be able to guess the one intended.soft-question
