The five utterances of Perseus in the story of the "Gorgon's head that strikes me the most are the following: 
1.) "I would willingly risk my life to do so"
2.) "And, besides, what would my dear mother do, if her beloved son were turned into a stone?"
3.) If anybody is in fault, it is myself; for I have the honor to hold your very brilliant and excellent eye in my own hand!"
-4.) ,--"I hold your eye fast in my hand, and shall keep it safely for you, until you please to tell me where to find these Nymphs."
5.) "Behold it, then!"  

These utterances contains values and hidden principles that is being shown in the character of Perseus. The courage, the strength and the determination.
