i thought the cube root or square root are not possible on the denominator
It's alright. Though some teachers require their students to rationalize to remove the radicals in the denominator.
For better approximation. But when we were studying differentiation, we were not required to do so so that the teacher can easily check our answers. It just depends on what you were taught in class
