Take this case:  
Moon's gravity is 1/6 of earth's gravity.  If we bring a bike a with a mass and weight of 12 kg from earth to the moon, it's mass will still the same but the weight will be 2 kg only because of the weak gravity (gravity pull) of the moon compared to earth.
