Basically, the difference between physical change and chemical change is that in chemical change, the constituents of the object are being altered such. One example is rusting of iron. In physical change, the change is just mainly physical: state change (ice to water), pigment change (only applies on paint or colors: blue + yellow = green), and the likes. Chemical changes usually undergo heat.
