First, you have to take the equation and put into slope intercept form. y=mx+bB will be your y-intercept and m will be your slope. Slope is rise over run, so if it is negative, your line will be going down from left to right. If the slope is positive, the line will be going up from left to right.Hope I could help :)

Nope :) slope is the "m" so how can you use the form y=mx+b? Simple the formula used in finding the slope is m=y2-y1/x2-x1

(X1,Y1) (X2,Y2)

Y2-Y1
X2-X1

There are four ways.
y=mx+b
y-y1=m(x-x1)
y-y1=(y2-y1/x2-x1) (x-x1)
x/a + y/b = 1
