The flow of electrons has two types. The Direct current- which is an electrical flow we get from batteries and solar cells. DC is when electrons travel in only one direction. And the Alternating Current- the electrical flow we get from a typical electrical outlet in home. AC is when the electrons flow in 2 directions, from the positive to the negative terminal and from the negative to the positive terminal (alternating between the 2 directions).
