Inspect portable cord-and-plug connected equipment, extension cords, power bars, and electrical fittings for damage or wear before each use. Repair or replace damaged equipment immediately. Always tape extension cords to walls or floors when necessary.

1.Don’t remove a plug from a power point by pulling on the cord; pull the plug instead.
2. Never plug adaptors into adaptors and avoid using adaptors filled with plugs where possible.
3. Circuit breakers and fuses should be the correct size current rating for their circuit.
4. Use the correct wattage light bulb for all light fittings.
5. Do not use damaged sockets, replace with care when necessary.
