First, when you inhale the oxygen molecules enters your nostrils, your nose heats the air up the same as your body temperature. then it passes through your pharynx, larynx and your trachea. Next, it passes through your bronchi which directs it through your bronchioles where your capillaries are. And finally the exchange of gasses happens. where deoxygenated blood exchanges carbon dioxide for oxygen.
