No. We can't progress without Math because basically reality has all sorts of math-related-things. Everyday we encounter numbers such as the fare of the vehicles. We need Math in order to know how to count the change, how to add, subtract and other basic operations. Even if we hate Math, we need it. It's vital in our lives.
Basic math is essential while complex math (algebra trigo and geometry) is only for those with courses related to it with the exclusion of you applying geometry to study the base and height of the chair in your apartment and stuff.
