Let "a=1st no." And" b = 2nd no.",.. The equation is " a/b = 2/3 "....Since one number must be 6 more than the other, it only means that "b= 6+a" . So we substitute the value of b in the equation, " a/(6+a) =2/3 ". Upon solving, We well get the answer a=12... Then now we can get the value of b,.. b=6+(a)...b=6+(12)... b=18... Therefore, the numbers are 12 and 18.
