t^2- \frac{3}{10}t - \frac{10}{100}= t^2- \frac{3}{10}t - \frac{1 }{10 }=\frac{10t^2}{10}- \frac{3t}{10} - \frac{1 }{10 } =\frac{10t^2-3t -1}{10}= \\\\=\frac{10t^2-5t+2t-1}{10}=\frac{5t(2t-1)+(2t-1)}{10}= \frac{ (2t-1) (5t+1)}{10}

it's okay...I appreciate the help :)
actually riza1 is right .. just having it in whole numbers rather than decimal but you can express it in decimal by the way. you just have to divide each term by 10 making it (0.2t-0.1)(0.5+0.1)
