First add the whole numbers 3+5=8

Then add the fraction: 2/3 +3/4, the Least common denominator is 12.

So the expression will be 8/12 +15/12= 23/12 or 1 11/12.

1+8=9 +11/12

Finally, the answer is 9 11/12
