 \frac{4}{6} +  \frac{3}{12}
Getting the LCD, you'll have 12
 \frac{4}{6} +  \frac{3}{12} =  \frac{4(2)+3}{12}
              = 11/12
Therefore 11/12 of the pizza was eaten.

Lowest Term:
4/6 = 2/3
3/12 = 1/4

 \frac{2}{3} +  \frac{1}{4} =  \frac{8-3}{12} or  \frac{11}{12}

Another method:

 \frac{4}{6} +  \frac{3}{12} =  \frac{11}{12}

Hope it helps! :)

seems your 4/6 + 3/12 are confusing for those who doesn't know how to add different denominators. It's correct though. Just sayin :D
