A sphere is a perfectly round geometrical object that is three dimensional, with every point on its surface equidistant from its center. Many commonly-used objects such as balls or globes are spheres. If you want to calculate the volume of a sphere, you just have to find its radius and plug it into a simple formula, V = ⁴⁄₃πr³.

Volume of sphere is

V = (4/3)πr³

Since the given is in diameter we need to convert it first to radius

Diameter = 2r

Radius = 2/d

We can now look for radius by substituting the value of diameter to the formula

Radius = 2/3

We now have to substitute the value of radius to the formula of volume of sphere

V = (4/3)π(2/3)³

Note: π = 3.14

V = (4/3) * 3.14 * (2/3)³

Find the cube of 2/3 and multiply π to 4/3

V = 4.188790204786391 * 8/27

Multiply the two given

Volume is 1.2411230236404121

~1.24 inch³

I hope it helps
