Jessica was driving her car and maintains an average speed of 35 kilometers per hour. She passed a church at 8 a.m. Andrew was also driving along the same

route and passed the same church at 10 a.m. He overtook Jessica's car at noon. In kilometers per hour, at what rate was Andrew driving his car?

Let 'x' be the speed of Andrew's car
at 8am Jessica passed a church and @12noon was overtaken by Andrew's car
Just before the overtaking happened, Jessica traveled for 4hours
And Andrew traveled for 2 hours(10am-12nn)
Since both traveled the same distance from church up to some point @12nn then you can equate it as:
35(4hrs) = x(2hours)
x = (35×4) ÷ 2
x = 70kph
