A good example of this would be a 30-60-90 triangle.

The 90 degree angle has the hypotenuse opposite it.

This is also the largest angle, and the hypotenuse is the longest side.

But for the sake of accuracy, we do not use ration and proportion to solve such triangles with all sides given. We have to use the Side-Side-Side formula.
